Intermediate bows for strafer

Could anyone suggest some bows to look for/create with rune words as an untwinked strafer? I'm hoping to get WWS or WF at end game, but what can I use till then? I've got a small stock of medium level runes saved up, but right now I only have sky strike, ichors string, doomslinger?, and buriza for bow choice.

Also, I'm prob going to level up using LF/CS and only use strafe at hell level, (or when I get a bow that outperforms LF).



Skills will be :

Lf 20

Cs 20

Strafe 20

And pierce and penetrate with the rest.

Harmony is a good mid- or even end-game bow.

You're going to respec in Hell? You can stay as you are - a Strafe/LF hybrid that has no problems with LIs or PIs, using both attacks depending on the situation. Also CS is good for bosses.|||My plan was to use strafe only on lightning immunes, I'm not respeccing, just using mostly lf on the way up.

I made harmony in a really crappy bow once and it wasn't that great in hell, if I recall. I was so excited to make the rune word I just dropped them into the first socketed bow I found . What kind of bow should I make harmony in, and where do you search for them?(game areas, difficulty)

Its cheap enough, though, that you can make it in the meantime in any Matriarchal Bow, or even a Great Bow or Blade Bow, since its the IAS thats most important. Buriza isnt bad in the meantime either.|||for early game (before you can get the KO), you could make edge, it's not the best RW, but it's not bad either.|||If you intend to use Harmony as early as possible I recommend Blade Bow. It has the same avg dmg of the other -10 Elite bow, but has lower requirements. It's the best bow to give to Act 1 mercs IMO, though this now is not much used, with the banning of Iron Maiden in CS. Can build another later at a +3 Class-specific. Riphook is not bad for Nightmare until act 4. Goldstrike Arch is NM viable. Buriza is great but it has high Str reqs, so you either build around it or respec later.
