Should I invest more in passive skills or just up light skills? Is max block needed?
What's better - Razortail or t'gods/Ww or silkweave?
Any suggestions? Take a note that I will be using it only for cows and baal runs and I dont have infinity merc yet(he's using insight)|||
a light java needs pierce, so either invest more hard skills in the passive skill or use a razor tail (33%). if u cow, razor would be better imo, however at the throne there can be quite a lot of souls, which makes TG for that purpose superior imo
max block is a matter of preference. in hc most ppl use it on almost every char, sc its not that important. it might add an extra amount of safety, but also it prolly affect ur shield choice. since u�ll melee some fiends i�d use it personally, which should result in not using spirit. rhyme, stormshield with 1 facet, mosars with 2 or headhunters glory with 3 have a nice price/use ratio.
light skills > passivs skills cuz u�ll have skill gear anyway, enough to boost all of them to a nice lvl, exception is pierce to some degree. either get ur valk to lvl 17 (after plus skills) or ignore her all together
silks are superior to ww imo, specially since u can switch the insight to something else like a reapers for dealing with LIs. the maek should keep ur mana bulb filled. if u have some (5+) maek somewhere else already (rings, amu or a tir in the helmet), other boots might be of more use|||My suggestions/preferences (PvM)
-1pt only in passives; I find D/A/E extremely annoying BUT the animation is still quicker than taking a shot without any faster hit recovery. They will get boosted alot by +skills gear so focus on damage skills instead.
-Razortail over anything else; You absolutely crucially want 100% pierce--after razortail's 33, all you need is 9 points in the skill which is guarenteed with standard +skills gear.
-Boots will depend on your mana situation and personal preference... I don't care much for MF but travs +damage could help with leech, and gores is wasted imo. I hate Phoenix shield for same reasons as D/A/E and that usually leaves me with silkweaves as a mana solution.
-For PvM don't waste your stats on max block, it's simply not needed unless you play HC. Focus on damage instead using either Spirit or faceted monarch.
-Also make sure you have enough IAS (preferably 55 at most), stack the +skills, -elr and +light dmg, and don't worry too much about anything else... With proper decoy, merc and valk usage, you can take on a purely offensive style.

2 more questions: Should I up my titans and what ring should I get?(I will use 1 raven)|||If you have enough maek, upping Titans isnt needed. For the other ring, I would use SoJ.|||Yeah, upping tits isn't mandatory but it can help with leech so don't worry about it too much. Also upping a low ED or non eth one is kind of a waste. For other ring I agree with bananaman SoJ is probably optimal but BK would also do, or a nice rare with res and leech if you're really lacking in that department.|||I have a nice dual leech+life+27l res ring but I dont see the difference with or without leech really. Got some dex java skillers and a 30str amulet (for storm bugging) so I decided to go max block/dr with storm,shako,coh,razortail and ww. Got that ias frame from hlords,2/20gloves and 15ias 16mana jewel in shako. Now only a torch left.
