Analysis:

WF+Pride setup: 112% damage, 100% pierce

WF+Faith setup: 100% damage, 100% pierce

Faith+Pride setup:117% damage, 91% pierce|||But....whats the point? You get 11% more DPS with a 60/160 and a Might/Pride than Fort + Faith merc with fully perfect gear? Were you just being hypothetical about ideal builds, or did you expect to get all those duped items? Because BK ring you could switch for a hypothetical LL/dex/max ring to squeeze even a little more DPS out of it.

The third setup I dont consider comparable because no PI solution is kind of a dealbreaker for a pure phys bowazon.|||Quote:

Magic arrow is still good enough for PI, when damage is huge. That lvl 11 MA does ~2-3k magical damage per second.|||And no ML on the last setup either..but I guess you could use a dualleech ring instead of that BK.|||Quote:

Well yeah.. but you can move the items around a bit, as long as keep hitting the 147 ias bp, like use andys instead of a circlet.. though that requires using an ias amu or nosferatu instead of the classic options.|||Quote:

How can we talk about budget? Anyone that can afford that diadem is not going to worry about saving on armor...

I just started building a windofrce zon. appreciate the discussion.

I happen to mfed in last week. 3os diadem with 90 life, and 4os jewelers wire fleece with 73 life. saving up to 15/40 them to put on my wf zon to see how it goes. until then i use mavinas and fort with faith merc, and since wf is ony 6 mana leech, going to sok with a shael until i get a Pwf.|||Quote:

Yes, but it is possible to use the 8-frame windforce build in such a way that it is in fact the CHEAPEST of the big-bow setups:

Highlord's / Atmas scarab

Windforce with shael

Treachery

Laying of Hands

Raven Frost

Razortail / Nosferatu's

Raven Frost

War traveler

Inv:

Whatever you can find

Merc:

Might merc with whatever!

This does mean using either highlord's or nosferatu's instead of the regular WF-setup items, but then again it is CHEAP. Only requires 1 expensive item, Windforce (which is cheaper than Faith!) and rest of the items can be got for pgs.|||agreed. That sounds like a fun and cheap build...
