buriza, a viable weapon in hell mode?

i was wondering is buriza a good crossbow for hell mode? I was looking at the stats and it like almost like a windforce except in a crossbow, the most defining feature on the bow is the 80ias it comes which is pretty sweet

if it works like this, then all i need is an additional 40ias from gear (gloves & amulet or helm) then i will reach the 120ias bp easily

well the only thing that makes me sketchy about this is that i hear crossbows arent that great for strafing and are a tad "slower" than bows |||crossbows are capped in terms of speed as compared to bows which potentially can attack faster. but buriza is still a decent weapon, even non-upgraded.

it may strafe slower, but if you're careful enough to distance yourself + knockback, it shouldn't be a problem.|||I've always thought it was the best budget weapon. Eaglehorn is a very viable options as well. Witchwild String is another one. I prefer Eaglehorn and Buriza over WWS though.|||Eaglehorn looks good. I've tried WWS and seen the guide and the DS/amp combo makes sense, in reality though amp doesn't proc enough to make up for the crap damage. I tested both for a while using weapon swap, and burrito cannon seemed to kill faster.|||Yes, Buriza is viable. Upgrade it if you want, either way it will work.

Kinda OT here, but since this turned into a bow discussion...So if you use an Eagle, your AR is moot right? Because of the ITD?

So a Vita build around Eagle would be do-able you'd just have to find a way to get more damage from it since you wont be pumping dex too much? I guess Fort over CoH would be mandatory in that case.

Putting a Jah in a WF would accomplish the same thing right?|||Quote:

itd doesn't work on uniques, champs, super uniques n bosses. so ar still plays a part. =)|||Buriza ownz.. clears 8p hell cs very fast, check it out:

so i was wondering what How much ias should i aim for? including buriza's wias it comes with?

@zrk: that vid is pretty cool although i don't like how he skipped that physical immune in the beggining his gear is pretty sweet but quite costly
