If not, then I guess I have to make a Fury amazon. The problem is, that I hate getting and using an Infinity wielding mercenary. (Main reason why I gave up mfing with a light sorceress. Summon necro is way much fun, and much better tc87 runner.)
Ps.: this is strictly for leveling up to 90 and above.|||Quote:
I'm willing to make a Windforce+Faith mercenary amazon (it looks awesome on paper), I mainly want to do public runs with her. Is her damage enough for the task? Is she enough viable to survive in players 8 for example?
Yep, her damage with good gear should be more then enough to kill things quickly in 8p games. Not the fastest for killing bosses but otherwise as an area clearer they're a good choice.

If you like LF but don't wish to use an infinity merc maybe you could try a hybrid?

Because I like bowazons (really fun to literally rape normal and nightmare) and LF is just an awesome skill to use. Hmm, no Infy also. I'm gonna make this.|||Thanks for the good advice. I'm a bit drunk right now, so my comment will be limited to a song that relates to the guide:

Well, tomorrow I'm gonna start beating the @@@@ out of baal and chaosruns.

To address the OP's question, though....pure bowazons can be fast enough in /p8, but it really does require outstanding gear. WF, Fort, and Faith or Pride merc, with enough IAS to hit your optimal BP for MS, is a minimum. You're going to need well-socketed items (I recommend Jah for WF) and lots of excellent +max charms to really excel in solo /p8.
With anything less, you really do notice the difference...monsters take longer, its harder to put them in hit animation, you're exhausting your arrows too quickly, etc.
