Hey forum. So I got my amazon to lvl 93 (finally) and I have recently bought from marchand a 3os helm with +36life.
I have faith (GM) bow and shes currently at 8 fpa (3.1 attack per second). I know that if I put 3x 40/15 jewels in it, will be at 7fpa (3.5).
Here is where my dilema starts, I could put in 40ed/15max dmg, 40ed/10min dmg, 40ed/15%IAS for more damage (still getting 8fpa) and to be able to switch belts for different kind of duels... I would also gain a couples of dex points...
But if I put 3x 40/15 ias i am pretty stuck with NOS belt to even reach 7fpa. So she is less flexible...
Now is this 1 fps more really worth it?
Regards|||ed/dmg jewels are bugged and will not give you their full benefits unless you socket them into a weapon.

From the Diabloii.net strategy compendium:
+X% Enhanced Damage jewels in weapons enhances the weapon damage directly.
But if you place the jewels in armor/shield/helm, the bonus will be added along with stats-bonus and skills.
If a jewel adds both ed% and min dmg, the ed% will only affect the max dmg.
If a jewel has both ed% and max dmg, the ed% only affects the min dmg.
This is why when you go to socket your arreats, its best to use,
40%ED/+15%IAS or
40%ED/-15%REQ or
40%ED/+9STR or
40%ED/+20LIFE or
BER RUNE

Sure, here's an example:
Recall: this bug applies to non-weapons only, so if you socket it in a weapon, there is no bug.
Plain Berserker Axe
Base Damage: 24 to 71
If you socket the 16ED/15Max (which I will call 16/15 from now on), then:
Min Damage = 24 * 1.16
Max Damage = (71 * 1.16) + 15
But if you socket it in an armor, you're working with this:
If you use the 16/15, you'd expect:
Minimum Damage = (Weapon Minimum Damage + (+x To Minimum Damage)) * (1 + StatsBonus + (+16% Enhanced Damage) / 100) * Modifier
Maximum Damage = (Weapon Maximum Damage + (+15 To Maximum Damage)) * (1 + StatsBonus + (+16x% Enhanced Damage) / 100) * Modifier
But because of the bug, what you actually get is:
Minimum Damage = (Weapon Minimum Damage + (+x To Minimum Damage)) * (1 + StatsBonus + (+16% Enhanced Damage) / 100) * Modifier
Maximum Damage = (Weapon Maximum Damage + (+15 To Maximum Damage)) * (1 + StatsBonus + (+x% Enhanced Damage) / 100) * Modifier
The 16% doesn't contribute to Enhanced Damage for maximum damage.|||Yeah with faith gmb there is the fortunate case that the fastest non-body armor ias setup is also the highest in damage terms(barring debatable razortail pierce advantage)|||Cool ty for this precious info I dint know about. I think I go with full 45%ias.
45%(helm)+20%(gloves)+20%(amulet)+10%(belt)+lvl14 fana = 7fpa, 3.5 attack per seconds.

I am not sure If I understand what you are trying to say. Elaborate please.
Regards|||that nothing does more damage than the 95 ias setup so the debate over what to choose cannot even start; the dichotomy of ias against damage as the dominant question of Windforce setup optimization
