Highlords vs Cat's Eye for pvm Javazon

[:1]I am playing in new ladder with javazon and can't decide between these amulets. Third option is Mara's, but it lacks ias and its resist mods will be outweight later when I get torch, CoH and anni (also, it's a bit dear).

So Highlords will deliver more damage (little more physical damage as well, which is important when jabbing light immunes), have unnessesary attacker takes ligthing damage mod and handy lighting resist (again not needed after CoH, anni and torch).

Cat's eye got 25 to dexterity which equals 75 health points as we save dex for vita. It's gonna be ~200 if I use CTA. It also got nice frw add which i am not really sure is super important but useful to some extent. It lacks Highlord's damage input (also +1 poin to to passives and valk) but is considered as best option overall.

Can someone help me here? Guides in ama section are so old.|||I cant decide what I would use of those two, cause I would use a rare +2ama amulet, or you can try crafting a +2ama/frw amu.|||Out of those two I would definitely use Highlord's.|||Quote:

+2 amu lacks ias that is essential for fury unless u have some sky high magic javelins with 4+ to skills and quickness mod. I think I will stick to highlords and give up dex points and frw.|||Actually javazons have a lot of trouble getting fcr so getting a fcr+ama kills amu may well be better than frw or ias. Especially since killing power is already ridiculous, assuming good items. For example, it allows for griffon, amu, fcr ring 48 fcr setup for tolerable tele bps and massive damage from 2020 shield, as exemplified here: |||Quote:

This is PvM, and imo IAS isnt that important for a Java for PvM. +skills and 100%pierce and dealing with the mana-issue is all you need basically.|||zrk, what was point of that video, besides showing perfect zon in combination with bnet and single player? Is there any conclusion with this video? Did anyone learn anyting?

No.

What you did was show off with perfect character an non practical approach in clearing CS. Did I meantion hax? Titans should be used 99% cases, and next time try building some realistic character. Possibly including horadric cube in inventory so you can actually pick something. Fastest possible run is also just in your head. I've done faster then this, including RoF, CS, picking items and starting game. Also killing every single monster doesn't make too much sense.

In Cat's eye vs HLW I'd take HLW any time of the day to be honest. Life isn't issue for PvM. Go for offensive mods and take HLW for nice DSvs LIs and bonus skills. I considered crafts myself, but HLW in the end beat all those things. Also go for 55IAS and 68fcr (at least on switch with Spirit) if teleporting. Teleporting zon > non teleporter imo.|||Quote:

Well.. i posted it on the other forum aswell.. despite several pages of taunting and smirking, no one came up with a faster clearance. I cant see inside your brain bro, u gotta record it in some manner so i can see how its better. In fact i would love nothing more, as my general challenges of doing cs runs as fast as possible(with several dozen optimized characters) have not been challenged at all, not a single time. In regards to actual video responses, that is.

The learning part would be what gear to aim for if the aim is the fastest possible cs clearance in p8.. The gear is realistic to those willing to get it, such things exist on battle net... though difficult to get legitimately agreed|||Quote:

Seriously, dude, you got these items in single player by using few programms? This is sad. Who needs this crap. The amulet, boots, rare ring, javelins are all non-existant and not possible to have in diablo. You could went with +100 to skills amulet and do your run in 30 seconds. Who cares about the crap in that video?|||Performance equivalent items have been possible to spawn.. Check the arrreat summit and chaos sanctuary(the old d2 website on web archive) for clarification..it is a tangent though and misses the point of the video .. as a benchmarking goal of what is theoretically possible without cheats. Given the limitations that exist, it leads to the conclusions of fcr gear being favorable over ias ones in those slots
