plague zon - can you stack poison jav duration with plague jav damage?

I just started playing a plague zon, and noticed that while poison javelin deals more damage overall and has a shorter cast delay, its damage per second is MUCH lower than plague javelin. I know I've heard before that if you do poison damage on an already poisoned target that the highest damage or something stacks and resets the timer, but I'm not sure.

Is it possible to somehow stack these? I.E. poison first, then plague after, or vice versa?|||No, you can't stack.

Probably the one with the highest damage rate (although it could be the last one, I'm not sure).|||Plague always overwrites poison. |||last applied poison overwrites all poison, no matter the source. i think rabies is the only weird poison source. even venom makes sense compared to rabies.|||When poison is applied to an already poisoned target, it will overwrite the rate (poison damage per frame or second, where a frame is 1/25 second) and length of the previous poison if it has an equal or higher rate.
